PizzaWant to learn how you can get academic credit by working for a political party, a candidate running for office this November or for an elected official? Or, maybe you want to work at the polls this November and earn money on Election Day, or join an organization such as Young Republicans and Young Democrats.
Whatever your path, the Political Pizza Party is for you! Numerous political party officials, candidates and representatives will be on hand from 11 to 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, in T-101 to talk with students. Professor Carla Michalak will also discuss how students can earn credit in her Political Science Internship course.
This annual event is co-sponsored by the college’s Student Assembly, the History/Philosophy/Social Sciences Department and the Garnar Center for Civic Engagement.  Faculty are  asked to encourage their students to attend this event. People with questions should contact Professor Doug Garnar at garnardc@sunybroome.edu.
