Moving in Congregations Acting in Hope (MICAH) is holding Building Unity: A Service of Prayer to End Racism at 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 30 Main St. in Binghamton.

Preaching is Dr. Aloja Airewele, a native of Nigeria and Ithaca resident who practiced family medicine for eight years before stepping full-time into pastoral ministry and social justice initiatives. The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee will provide the music, along with the Fairview United Methodist Church Bell Choir.

MICAH is a faith-based community organization that has been working to build racial unity in the Binghamton area for the past two years.
