LUMA is back for year 5! This year, the lights and art festival has seven brand new features that are sure to make you say “WOW!”

SUNY Broome Assistant Director for Technology Services Fermin Romero is a Technical Director on the project again this year. He had this to say about this year’s festival, which takes place Sept. 6 and 7 in downtown Binghamton:

“I can’t wait for you to see what we have in store! There is a feature that celebrates the 50-year anniversary of the moon landing, and another that turns the building into a time artifact. Of the seven all new features, five are completely free and two require advanced tickets. You can buy tickets at https://lumafestival.com/tickets/. I promise you’ll be impressed!”

As with previous years, starting at sundown festival-goers can move from building to building at their own pace to enjoy everything that our artists have dreamed up. Don’t forget year there’s more to LUMA than just the building shows, so please don’t forget to download a map.

We hope to see you there!
