Focus on Wellness

There will be a free opioid overdose intervention training session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, located at 918 Upper Front St.

Participants will learn to recognize, respond to, and reverse an opioid overdose using Naloxone.

Naloxone’s unique chemical nature has been instrumental in reducing the number of fatal overdoses related to opioids. Naloxone training sessions are vital for people to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. Once trained to administer Naloxone, it is a simple process, but has the potential to save a life.

Please call the Office at (607) 724-5421 to sign up for the training.
