On Election Day, New Yorkers will have a chance to determine if it is time to convene a state Constitutional Convention. While some organizations and individuals are advocating passionately for stances on this ballot measure, many voters are unfamiliar with the concept.
This debate, the fifth in the You Defend It series at Binghamton University, will present speakers on both sides of the issue to explain why students, faculty and staff should be ready to voice their opinions on Nov. 7. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions live during the event.

Featuring:
Dr. Henrik Dullea – Cornell Vice-President for University Relations Emeritus
Marion Irwin – Citizen Action
Rob Kilmer – President of Defend It, Inc.
Dr. Wendy Martinek – Associate Professor of Political Science
