Join us for the grand opening ceremony of the Paul and Mary Calice & Mildred Barton Advanced Manufacturing Center.
The $13+ million project completely renovated the former Mechanical Building, which was originally built in 1956. The Calice Advanced Manufacturing Center features the latest technology, from green energy to an advanced manufacturing lab with a clean room, and a high-tech soldering lab. It also includes new fermentation and food processing labs for use in future food science coursework.
This project is made possible by a transformational estate gift from Mr. Emil Calice through the Broome Community College Foundation and additional financial support from the State University of New York (SUNY), NYSERDA, Empire State Development Corporation, Broome County, and AMETEK PDS.
The ceremony will be followed by building tours.
