Please join Earth Day Southern Tier (EDST) as we host Earth Fest 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in SUNY Broome’s Baldwin Gym. Admission is $1 per person or a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.

The event is a partnership between SUNY Broome, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, and the Roberson Museum and Science Center. Each venue is offering discounts if you show up with a stamp from any of the other two venues. The Roberson Museum or the Binghamton Zoo will discount their tickets by $2 and you can get a free admission to Earth Fest!

As always, there will be vendors, food, magic shows, hands-on children’s activities, crafts, demonstrations and give-a-ways. We also feature a River Trails Bike Cruise organized by the Southern Tier Bike Club. Rogers Service Group will be offering free document shredding from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a book exchange and clothing recycling drop-off at the event. Fuel-efficient cars will also be on display.

Your involvement in Earth Fest helps support Earth Day Southern Tier’s mission by increasing public education and awareness of environmental concerns and the programs, products, and technology available to green the Tier and the planet. Together we can realize a better today and a sustainable, more healthy tomorrow.
