RoseIn the wake of the tragic death of a Binghamton University student last evening, our campus community sends its deepest condolences to the student’s family and friends and all those at Binghamton University who were impacted by the fatal stabbing in one of its residence halls.

Windham Hall, where the incident took place, is in a residential community shared by many of our Binghamton Advantage Program students. Two of our BAP students were very close to the deceased while others knew him as a resident of their hall.

Binghamton University has canceled its classes today in the wake of this senseless tragedy and we ask you to please be sensitive to any BAP student’s needs at this trying time.

We encourage any student who needs support to contact our Counseling Services or services at BU. Our Counseling Office is located in Student Services Room 210.  Students can stop in to make an appointment or call 778-5210.

Once again, our deepest sympathies go out to all those impacted by this terrible tragedy.

Thank you,

Kevin E Drumm, PhD
