Stinger and SUNY Cortland's Red Dragon

Looking to transfer to SUNY Cortland? It’s time to plan your flight path with Cortland’s transfer mobility advisor Greg Diller.

It’s never too early to start planning for your destination school, Diller counseled. By touching base with SUNY Cortland early, you can select electives for your major with more confidence, knowing that the credits will transfer.

“The more we can plan in your first and second semesters, the more we can make that transition as smooth and fast as possible,” he said.

Over the summer, Diller was hard at work updating SUNY Cortland’s transfer planning guides to make sure that the programs between the two colleges align well. This upcoming semester, he is looking to schedule visits and bus trips to the SUNY Cortland campus for interested students; stay tuned for further developments.

Professor Lisa Strahley said that Diller has been an asset to the Teacher Education and Early Childhood Department, which she chairs.

“Many of our Teacher Education students plan to transfer to SUNY Cortland when they graduate.  Having Greg on site to meet with students to discuss transfer pathway advice and give them insight about life at SUNY Cortland helps our students feel confident about the courses they are taking here and where they are headed when they graduate,” she said. “His welcoming and inclusive disposition as well as his knowledge about transfer enhances the student experience. We love having Greg work with us.”
