Join Phi Theta Kappa for a free screening of The Codes of Gender: Identity and Performance in Pop Culture at 6 p.m. Friday, June 23, in T-102!

Part of PTK’s International Film Festival, the screening of the film is free and open to the public.

This fascinating documentary (73 minutes) by media guru Sut Jhally examines images in media and advertising and helps us to decode them and understand how ideas of masculinity and femininity are being shaped in the minds of viewers. You will never see advertising or media imagery in the same way after seeing this film.
