Free screening of ‘Please Vote for Me’ on June 16

Join Phi Theta Kappa for a free screening of Please Vote for Me at 6 p.m. Friday, June 16 in T-102!

Part of PTK’s International Film Festival, the screening of the film is free and open to the public.

This film (58 minutes) will appeal to those who are fascinated with China or politics or both. Two boys and a girl vie for political office in a third-grade class in China and drama, character assassination and helicopter-parenting ensue. The children are meant to learn about democracy through the process of campaigning for office, but the viewer learns even more about China, politics, and how power corrupts.
