SUNY Broome Art and Design adjunct instructor Rich Harrington was invited to show work at a seven-week pop-up show at Gallery 444 in Provincetown, MA, this summer.

Dana Salvo, director of the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA, invited Rich through his dealer, John Brunelli of Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts in Binghamton. According to Joshua Jade, assistant director of the Clark Gallery, the “pieces are the talk of the town, and experiencing a wonderful reception here.”

The work in the show depicts a humorous take on gay identity by re-contextualizing existing cultural images and presenting them through various channels referencing childhood experiences.

The show opened July first and will run through Aug. 18. Gallery 444 is located at 690 Commercial Street in downtown Provincetown, MA.
