For the first time in the SUNY Broome history, the men’s cross country team won the Region III Championships Oct. 26 on the 5-mile course at Finger Lakes Community College.

The SUNY Broome men’s cross country team, fresh from their Region III championship win, competed in NJCAA Division III nationals Nov. 2 in Stanley Park, Massachusetts.

The team finished 10th out of the 43 teams that competed. They also defended their Number 1 spot in Region III, finishing 29 points ahead of Herkimer Community College and 64 ahead of Hudson Valley.

Our top-flying Hornet was Jeremy Hall, who finished in 23rd place with a time of 28:14 on the five-mile course. Great job, gentlemen!
