The Business Programs Department would like to announce that Assistant Professor Dr. Diana Lee Heron has been selected to be a faculty panelist and presenter at the April 30, 2021 inaugural SUNY System Business Deans conference entitled “Business Disciplines Leaning into the Future: Tips, Tools and Practices for Incorporating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into Business School Classes”.

Business is dynamic and multicultural, and today’s well-informed business programs must be able to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion into their content and classes in a pedagogically sound and discipline appropriate manner. By being selected, Dr. Heron is being recognized as a thought leader within the SUNY System for her work in helping to transform business education at SUNY Broome. In her BUS 215 Managing Diversity in Organizations course, Dr. Heron has helped to successfully integrate diversity, equity and inclusion into almost every SUNY Broome A.S. and A.A.S. business program.

Lee is an enlightened voice whose work is both culturally and educationally significant. The Business Programs Department and the entire college are proud of Lee and wish to congratulate her on this important academic accomplishment!
