Come to a virtual pizza party and awards ceremony this Friday, May 15, at 3:00. The SUNY Broome Toastmasters Club hosted a Student Speech Content on Friday, May 8, at 3:00 pm. 40 people attended via Zoom, including 17 contestants. Awards will be announced this Friday.

One contestant’s strategy to stand out was to be sitting fully clothed in a bathtub, multitasking with a laptop in front of him. Students gave 1-2 minute impromptu speeches on topics presented at the contest. Winners will be announced at 3:00pm on May 15, when all contestants will share in a simultaneous Zoom pizza party. The pizza is being donated by Domino’s and by Student Activities at SUNY Broome.
