Counseling Services
To align with CDC and SUNY Broome recommendations in regards to COVID 19, effective March 23, 2020 Counseling Services will be working remotely. Our mission is to serve and support the students of SUNY Broome Community College in the best way we can, while maintaining social distancing.

With this in mind, all face-to-face services will be suspended and replaced with Telemental Health.

SUNY Broome Counseling Services cannot provide 24-hour emergency management, particularly to those using services at a distance. If you are ever experiencing an emergency, including a mental health crisis, you agree to make use of the following 24/7 resources:

• If on campus, call Public Safety at +1 (607) 778-5083 or 9-911 from a campus phone, 911 from a non-campus phone.
If in the Binghamton area, call the Crisis Center at +1 (607) 762-2302.
• Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline: +1 (800) 273-8255.
• Contact the Crisis Text Line (https://www.crisistextline.org/) by texting HOME to 741741.
• Call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
