On Thursday, February 20 the Business Club hosted a guest lecture by Jeff Schapiro, CEO and founder of Cleaner’s Supply. Cleaner’s Supply is an online dry cleaning supply provider, serving approximately 85% of dry cleaning businesses in the United States. Mr. Schapiro, who began his college education at SUNY Broome, discussed how he started the business out of his basement and grew it to eventually serve customers from all over the world. Business students asked him questions about his innovative marketing strategies, environmental sustainability initiatives, competing with corporations like Amazon, and efforts to build a strong company culture.
