Join us March 10 and 11 at Cyber Cafe West for Chrysalis: A Storytelling Event centered on immigration. The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. both days at the cafe, located at 176 Main St. in Binghamton.

You’ll have the opportunity to tell your personal story or your family’s story of immigration, and to learn from the stories of others. The event is open to both the college and local community. Please note that stories are limited to 5 minutes in length.

Workshops will be available prior to the event for those who would like to develop their storytelling skills. Workshops are scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. March 7 in Decker Health Sciences Room 318 on the SUNY Broome campus, and from 1 to 2 p.m. March 10 and 11 at the Cyber Cafe.

This event is sponsored by the SUNY Broome Center for Civic Engagement and Be The Change. Questions? Contact Alice at caroompasam@sunybroome.edu.
