American Dining Creations held the first Chef Education Series cooking class at the Student Village on May 8.

Student Village students were given the hands-on opportunity to tackle several simple recipes that are well-suited for a residence hall, using basic equipment, techniques and a small shopping budget to create multiple meals.

The students had a lot of fun and got to eat some great food, and received a gift bag of recipe cards, tools and treats.

One lucky student also took home a $50 gift basket of cooking equipment to outfit their room. It was a great experience, and one that we plan to recreate throughout the Fall and Spring semesters to come.
