Pasta being madeAmerican Dining Creations is excited to announce the second installment of their Chef Education Series of cooking classes: Fresh Pasta 101!

The culinary team will be in the Student Village from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 — National Pasta Day — demonstrating how to create homemade pasta from scratch, along with several recipes to go with it. They will highlight simple recipes with straightforward techniques, using minimal equipment. These are recipes that are tailored towards apartment cooking, and use inexpensive ingredients.

Participating students will receive a free gift bag of tools and treats, as well as enter for a door prize of a $50 culinary gift basket! They will receive recipe cards for everything they create in the class, plus get to eat their creations.

There are 12 spots in the class, and students can sign up in the American Dining Creations office in the Dining Hall, by phone at 778-5140, via email to kmaurer@afvusa.com, or via our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ADCBroome. There will be flyers posted in the café and Student Center, and information on our Facebook page as well.
