Cell phones are dirtier than toilet seats!

Our mobile devices can have 10 times more bacteria than toilet seats (Pegg, 2013). Your cell phone is literally covered in germs! It goes everywhere with you.

Clean your mobile devices on a regular basis. Antibacterial wipes are abrasive to your cell phones and can scratch them. Instead, fill a spray bottle halfway with water and the other half with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Spray some solution onto a lint-free cloth and use that once a week to disinfect your cell phone.

Remember: It takes only 20 seconds to wash your hands. Friction and running water are the two most important factors for an effective hand wash.
