Celebrate the richness and beauty of our planet at Earth Fest, from 10 ma.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in SUNY Broome’s Baldwin Gym, located in the Student Center. Admission is $1 or a donation to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.
Earth Day Southern Tier is proud to be again partnering with SUNY Broome, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, and the Roberson Museum and Science Center. There will be vendors, music, food, magic shows, hands-on children’s activities, crafts, demonstrations and give-a-ways. The event also features a River Trails Bike Cruise organized by the Southern Tier Bike Club.
The SUNY Broome Ecology Club will be operating a book exchange and clothing recycling drop-off program during the event. Fuel-efficient cars will also be on display.
