Fall food drive to aid SUNY Broome students in need

Every SUNY Broome student should have a Thanksgiving dinner. A special collection will be conducted between Nov. 6 and 20 to provide SUNY Broome students with holiday food items. From Nov. 21 through Dec. 11, we will continue to collect items to stock the SUNY Broome Food Pantry for the winter months.

The work of pioneering media theorist Marshall McLuhan is becoming increasingly relevant to our contemporary, interconnected world. Join us from 12 to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Titchener 101 for a rare opportunity to discuss McLuhan’s seminal work, “Understanding Media,” with McLuhan’s son, internationally-known lecturer Dr. Eric McLuhan in addition to McLuhan’s grandson, media educator Andrew McLuhan, via Skype.
