Student Village residents learned how to cook in a Chef Education class offered by American Dining Services.

American Dining Creations is excited to announce a new Chef Education Series class on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m. in the Student Village Classroom.

This will be the first of a series of cooking classes hosted by ADC’s culinary team. The first class of the series, “How to Boil Water,” will focus on basic cooking techniques and recipes that will use inexpensive ingredients and basic equipment that is available in the Student Village suites. Students will participate in creating several dishes and will be provided with recipe cards for those and other recipes they can tackle back in their suites.

The first class will be open to 12 participants, all of whom will receive a gift bag and be eligible for a door prize, not to mention the opportunity to enjoy their creations — all at no cost!

Students can sign up via ADC’s Facebook page, by e-mailing kmaurer@afvusa.com, or calling (607) 778-5140.
