As we all know, being in college takes a toll on your wallet. With that in mind, the Student Village has joined Student Activities to organize a program where students can make a few gifts for their family, friends and loved ones. This program will take place in various places around the Student Village Residence Hall at 8 p.m. Dec. 16.

Various stations will be set up for students to decorate stockings, t-shirts, cookies and ornaments, as well as create a stuffed bear, bracelets and holiday cards. No matter who you have in mind, there is something that can be made for anyone in your life.

This program was created to keep everyone in the holiday spirit and encourage students to give a little something to the people around them, no matter how hard times are financially. That Wednesday, the biggest concern will no longer be about how much money you have to spend on presents, but rather what station to start at!

Stations will be placed all around the building, so be sure to check out the Lounge areas, the Skype Lounge and the classrooms to get started. Hope to see you all there!
