Student members of SUNY Broome’s Broome Educators of Children Association donated more than 150 new books to HCA’s Building Blocks Preschool, as well as several hundred gently used books for HCA’s classroom libraries. The college club held a book drive to raise donations.
The Literacy Legacy Project also gave each 4-year-old preschool student their own copy of The Bus for Us children’s book as part of a county-wide initiative being supported through Broome County.
On campus, BECA also delivered a book pack and raised $1,000 for BC Center, college’s childcare center.
