This 12-week, 60-hour program is for anyone who has the dream of starting their own small business.
The college will host an information and registration night from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator, located on Hawley Street in downtown Binghamton. During this time, you can register for the program at a reduced price of $149. After that date, the cost rises to $199. (It’s still a steal, by the way: The cost of the program would be $3,600, but is funded by a grant from Empire State Development.)
For anyone that has served our country in the armed forces, the special rate is just $10! It is our way to give back for the sacrifices they made for us.
The program is intended to introduce the topics that are pertinent to business (see attached flyers) so that the participants are prepared to start and succeed in business. The EAP Center at SUNY Broome is located on the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator’s third floor and is a wonderful space for them to create their dream of small business ownership. There are many valuable resources so that the small business entrepreneur never feels alone in getting where they want to go.
To take part in EAP, an application is required. For more information, contact Darlene Kanuk at (607) 777-4022 or kanukda@sunybroome.edu, or visit our website.
