This type of accelerated program has run successfully in the Syracuse area twice this past year, with more than 20 apprentices being hired into careers in advanced manufacturing. The training will take place at the Owego Apalachin Central School District STEAM facility located at 5 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego in partnership with SUNY Broome who will provide both the curriculum and instructor for the program.
