SUNY Broome students are currently rehearsing for the upcoming theater production of Rumors, by Neil Simon, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright who recently passed away at the age of 91.
Simon wrote Rumors as a farce, and yet it is both farce and an entertaining situation comedy filled with wit and nuance. Don’t miss this chance to experience an evening of laughter and fun.
“Our students are preparing this challenging comedy and, at the same time, learning the valuable techniques that the playing of comedy/farce requires,” said Theater director Katherine Bacon.
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15; Friday, Nov. 16; and Saturday, Nov. 17 in the Angelo Zuccolo Little Theater, located in the Student Center on the SUNY Broome campus.
