Our Health Sciences manikins need names!

Don’t be a dummy: Participate in Health Sciences’ manikin naming contest by Thursday, April 4!

The Health Sciences Division recently acquired new simulation manikins for our nursing students to practice with in our laboratory. We don’t want to be treated as numbers when we go to the doctor’s office; for this reason, we would like to add the same human dimension to the new residents of our Nursing Skills Lab. That’s where we need your help!

Please fill out this poll to name our newly acquired manikins. Since they can be of any gender depending upon the situation, we would like you to pick a neutral name suitable for any situation. There are seven adult manikins, one 5-year old child, and one newborn baby. You can look at them in this attached video.

Anyone from SUNY Broome Community College community can enter in this contest. Have fun coming up with names and winning a prize!
