He will be discussing his New York Times bestselling book Hamlet’s Blackberry: A Practical Philosophy for Building a Good Life in the Digital Age. The discussion will be moderated by Communications Department Instructor Nick Bongiorno.

Powers is a former journalist for The Washington Post and was initially a researcher for Bob Woodward in the investigative unit. His writing on media-related issues has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times and many other publications. He is currently a researcher at MIT Media Lab’s Laboratory for Social Machines.
