The SUNY Broome Concert Band, under the direction of Professor Karen Clark, will present an American Musical Journey, highlighting the music of Ticheli, Williams, Sousa, and favorites from film and Broadway, on Thursday, May 9.

The SUNY Broome Concert Band, under the direction of Professor Karen Clark, will present an American Musical Journey, highlighting the music of Ticheli, Williams, Sousa, and favorites from film and Broadway, on Thursday, May 9.

Featured on the program are the student mallet trio of Sierra Musk, Brooke Manga, and Shane Reynolds, who are performing Leyden’s “Serenade for a Picket Fence” with the band.  Sierra and Brooke are percussion students of SUNY Broome percussion instructor Professor Joesph Roma.

The concert is open to the public and will be performed free of charge at 7:30 p.m. May 9 in the Helen Foley Theatre at Binghamton High School.
