Adventure Time: Study Geology & Climate in New Hampshire’s White Mountains

Do you like to hike? Take your education to new heights with PHS 210: Mountain Geology & Climate! This Summer Term course will take you to the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, where you will learn firsthand about geology, meteorology and ecology through an intensive field experience.

For this 4 credit course, students are required to attend a series of pre-trip lectures and seminars. They will be graded based on field notebooks kept during the pre-trip local field study, as well as the field study in New Hampshire. To take the class, you’ll need the permission of the instructors and the ability to hike on uneven and dangerous terrain.
