Recent international news reports have shown how the people of Haiti are suffering through exacerbated violence and insecurity in the aftermath of the assassination of their president.
These same news reports have also pointed out that until this week, Haiti had the dubious distinction of being the only country in the Americas without a single dose of the Covid vaccine.
Despite this overwhelmingly negative news, SUNY Broome’s Health for Haiti program has a few positive updates to share.
